#LOL

Source: someecards
The title tells it all LOL that is short for laugh out loud, that's all I can think of when it comes to the mood shift of the whole Oscar bizarre trial. Everyone is having a feast from it, be it your journalists, reporters, the general public, public relations teams and departments. The case went out of control because of the lack of truth and facts, making the public have their own perspective on the issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHx1xMW0f3o

We may never know what really happened that valentine's morning in which the media has taken it upon themselves to take all the content they gathered and researched to highlight their strongest points. I still say the power of social media may make you or even break you.  http://www.jokeblogger.com/hottopic/Oscar-Pistorius

Now that Oscar Pistorius reputation has been demolished for decades, as you all might have heard the saying "It takes years to build up ones reputation and only a second to mess it all up" #unknown. In which it's exactly what had happened to the 'oh so mighty blade runner.'

Comedians had a jol on this case, the likes of Zapiro who is a cartoonist and Trevor Noah using the Oscar Pistorius situation in one of his shows called 'It's my culture' and now there's a tag on that joke saying "Too soon Too soon" whenever anyone has seen his DVD or has attended one of his shows they'd know. How easily all of this has turned into a worldwide joke. Do you think because of the prolonging of the case, that's why it has taken a turn into being a joke? Because it sure has shifted from the seriousness of the whole case? http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/comedians-find-humour-in-oscar-trial-1.1661003#.U_NkUKMaLcs

I sure had a ball of laughter in seeing all the pictures posted, uploaded, shared, drawings and videos as well that went viral on WatsApp; Facebook; Twitter; Flickr; Pinterest; YouTube; Google and Google plus. you wouldn't have missed it, I bet you reading as well have seen them being splashed around right? Everyone had shared a pic, drawings or funny comments relating to the trial. https://twitter.com/OscarJokes

The trial sure had a turnaround from a shocking murder case to a circus. Some people may think these comedians are being insensitive, maybe to the families involved but hey its no harm to have a little bit of humour once in a while. Which was the best out of all these or those you have seen and had shared on your social platforms? http://tomwinnifrith.com/articles/4428/call-me-tasteless-see-if-i-care-recycling-the-oscar-pistorius-twitter-jokes

  1. It sure turned into a circus when comedians did what they do best. I just hope in all fairness that Oscar gets what he deserves. The case has been dragged out for more than a year, it's time now that it gets put to rest.

    1. I totally agree with you Holly so Reeva Steenkamp can rest in peace and for the Steenkamp's family to finally get closure

    2. I couldn't agree more, the Steenkamp family deserves some peace of mind.

  2. Oscar hasn't been honest with the judges and I really don't blame people making a joke out of him because he is always beating around the bushes. This case would have been an ancient history if only he did what was right. I wish they could arrest him (which is what they are going to do) and take his legs away from him because he might do more harm than good.

    1. They most certainly will arrest him mate, it only a matter of time, and when they do, the rest of SA's nonsense addicts will get the message loud and clear.

    2. I agree with you Tee-Fabulous this case could have been long done and put to rest. But if they take his legs that wouldn't be fair, how would he get around? Lol

  3. I fully agree with you, the media, especially Social Media, have the potential to make or brake you...Media reports from different media houses nationwide have made sure that this once admired man stays on the bad side of the public.

We need not mention all the sponsors that have pulled out since the commencement of the trial cos that's a lifetime pain for Oscar, which he deserves, if you ask me.

What I do not like is how they are going on and on with this trial as if the world is coming to a stand still.....all they need to do is speed up the whole this and put this guy behind bars, where he can enjoy all the Samp with others.

    Key Blog.

    1. It sure is a lifetime pain for him Masutha, he has to rebuild his image, reputation and also prove himself to us the public and sponsors. It has gone on for far too long and it's enough now.

  4. from the look of your blog post its looks clear that you also believe on Oscar being guilty if so based on what facts that are proven true in the court of law?

    1. I think all the evidence is pointing in that direction. All that nonsense about him thinking that it was a burglar is just bogus!!!

    2. Well Boitumelo, even if I can try to turn the blind eye, in just Oscar's stories that he has presented in the court of law don't make sense and are not coming together.

  5. Honestly I think that people will try to find humour in any sort of situation, maybe to gain attention or what ever reason might be, however jokes do hurt especially if we are not laughing together... We need to consider that a life was lost in this scenario and making jokes about the fatality and Oscar could inconsiderate, although the jokes and pictures are creative and do depict reality.
